We are former members of Michigan bird and game breeders Association and American Dairy Goat Association. We use to raise Lamancha goats and ornamental pheasants and peafowl. Now that I am working outside of the home I no longer can manage the work involved with the birds and goats. So we decided to try Scottish Highlands. We bought our first bred highland in 2010. We just love the Highlands and we decided to name our farm Cairnbulg Acres after Cairnbulg, Aberdeenshire, Scotland where the Stephen family was originally from.

Apricot Lane Farm in California was featured as a video short on Oprah's Super Soul Sunday March 24th. The filming is lovely, and the video includes shots of both TwinFlower Wesley, Grand Champion Bull at the 2011 NWSS and LEA Firefly, both purchased from Midwest members at the National Sale in 2011.
