Quality Highland Cattle and 100% Grass Fed Highland Beef for Sale

Ray's family began raising Highland Cattle in 1967: in 2017 they will have been raising Highlands for 50 years. Ray and Janet continue to sell high quality breeding stock and Grass Fed and Grass Finished Highland and Highland Cross Beef. They cross their Highlands with a registered Beef Shorthorn Bull to produce a naturally polled, faster growing animal, while maintaining the unique qualities of the Highland beef.  Shat Acres Highlands have been very successful in the show ring, winning many  Championships at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, including three Grand Champion Cow/Calf honors with Shat Acres Cinnamon Raisin.

Dave Ulrich Remembered

Dave Ulrich, long-time Highland cattle owner, passed away on May 5, 2013.  Those of us who knew Dave will remember his perpetual enthusiasm and his great smile that always seemed to greet us. He was an extremely generous supporter of the Midwest Junior Highland Cattle Association.  Please read his complete obituary, and leave condolences here

Apricot Lane Farm video includes Highland cattle.

Apricot Lane Farm in California was featured as a video short on Oprah's Super Soul Sunday March 24th. The filming is lovely, and the video includes shots of both TwinFlower Wesley, Grand Champion Bull at the 2011 NWSS and LEA Firefly, both purchased from Midwest members at the National Sale in 2011.
