2026 “YOOPER CLASSIC” ROE HIGHLAND CATTLE SHOW
ENTRIES DUE NO LATER THAN JULY 15th
Presented by the Midwest Highland Cattle Association, Upper Peninsula Fair Grounds, 2401 12th Avenue N., Escanaba, Michigan 49829.
Cattle Schedule: Monday August 17th – UP cattle exhibitors entry day 8am-7 pm
Tuesday to Wednesday August 18-19th - cattle entry days 8am-8pm
Thursday, August 19th – all cattle need to be in place by 3:30 pm EST
Friday, August 20th -10:00 am Open Show followed by Junior Show
Friday August 20th – 4:00 pm Supreme Cattle Drive
Premiums: The UP Fair will pay from 1st to 10th place = $310 per each class including group classes in the Open show for a total of $8,060 available. MWHCA will pay premiums for the Jr. Youth Show.
Hotels: Several hotels available in Escanaba and Gladstone. No group rates available. Book early.
Cattle Entries: Need to register and pay in two places and due by July 15th We are entirely online this year. If you have problems with the Showman App please contact Kayla 989-551-4002 or Pat 517-331-6999

Make sure you enter and pay for any group classes you enter as well as all other open classes on the above link, otherwise you will not be eligible for premiums won.
Midwest SHOWMAN APP–
you will pay entry fees here as well, but there is no additional charge for the group classes at this website.
Juniors will enter only on the Showman App. DO NOT ENTER Juniors on the UP State Fair SHOWORKS APP!!!!
Cattle Release Times: Saturday or Sunday as your Highland exhibit needs to be on the grounds for 3 full days.
