2025 “YOOPER CLASSIC” ROE HIGHLAND CATTLE SHOW Download forms below. Pay for your entries online here.
Presented by the Midwest Highland Cattle Association, Upper Peninsula Fair Grounds, 2401 12th Avenue N., Escanaba, Michigan 49829.
Cattle Schedule: Monday August 11th – UP cattle exhibitors entry day 8am-7 pm
Tuesday to Wednesday August 12-13th - cattle entry days 8am-8pm
Thursday, August 14th – all cattle need to be in place by 3:30 pm EST
Friday, August 15th -10:00 am Open Show followed by Junior Show
Friday August 15th – 4:00pm Supreme Cattle Drive
Premiums: The UP Fair will pay from 1st to 10th place = $310 per each class including group classes in the Open show for a total of $8,060 available. MWHCA will pay premiums for the Jr. Youth Show.
Hotels: Several hotels available in Escanaba and Gladstone. No group rates available. Book early.
Camping: limited spots available on the grounds, first come first service. Contact the UP Fair office at 906.786.4011.
Cattle Entries: Need to register in two places and due by July 15th
1. UP State Fair- register on-line https://upperpst.fairwire.com (for premiums)
2. Midwest – download forms at https://www.midwesthighlands.org Mail or email Instructions on the forms.
3. Jr. Youth Show – see link below.
Cattle Release Times: Saturday or Sunday as your Highland exhibit needs to be on the grounds for 3 full days.

ADDITONAL INFORMATION WILL BE SENT TO YOU AFTER YOUR REGISTRATIONS ARE RECEIVED ON ADDITIONAL HIGHLAND ACTIVITIES AND CATTLE HOUSING DETAILS AND SUCH AT THE UP FAIR.
You must pay an entry fee to the MWHCA as well as the UP State Fair. You may mail a check of pay online here
